Open Rhinoplasty
Performed with a small incision through the skin between the nostrils (columella).
It is preferred for cases that require significant structural changes, deformities due to trauma, or detailed aesthetic corrections.
The recovery time may be longer, but the results are more controlled..
Closed Rhinoplasty
Performed with incisions inside the nose, leaving no external scar.
Since the skin is not lifted, the recovery period is shorter.
It is preferred for small corrections, nasal bone curvatures, or limited aesthetic interventions.
Post-surgery swelling and bruising may be less noticeable.
Secondary Rhinoplasty
Can be performed using either open or closed techniques; generally a more complex surgical process.
Supportive tissues lost in the nasal structure can be reconstructed (cartilage grafts may be required).
Although the success rate is high, it is a more difficult and detailed procedure than the initial surgery.
